Delete your Sobrenna account
Last updated: 26 October 2026.
This page explains how to delete your account and data in Sobrenna, the sober day counter by Badas Software. You can do it in the app or by email. Either way, no justification is needed.
Sobrenna works without an account: unless you turned on Backup & sync and signed in with Apple or Google, your counters and journal exist only on your phone, and there is no account or cloud copy to delete. To remove them, delete them in the app or uninstall it.
In the app (signed in with Apple or Google)
- Open Sobrenna and go to Settings → Backup & sync.
- Under Account (it shows your email address), tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Apple or Google asks you to sign in once more, to confirm it is you.
The deletion happens right away. The app then continues with a new anonymous user ID, and the data on this phone stays until you delete it or uninstall the app.
To delete only the cloud copy and keep your account, tap Delete the cloud copy on the same screen.
By email (no longer have the app, or never signed in)
- Write to support@sobrenna.app with the subject “Delete my account”.
- Include the Apple or Google account you signed in with, or the User ID shown at the bottom of Settings in the app (tap it to copy).
We delete everything under that account or ID within 30 days and confirm by reply.
What is deleted
- The cloud copy of your counters, slips and journal (moods, cravings and notes included).
- The sign-in account with its email address, and with Google also the profile name and photo link.
- On iPhone, Sobrenna’s Sign in with Apple access is revoked.
- On a request by email, also the anonymous user ID itself.
What is not deleted
- Data on your phone is not removed by deleting the account. Delete counters and entries in the app, or uninstall it.
- Your purchase. Sobrenna Plus stays with the App Store or Google Play account that bought it and can be restored with Restore purchases. Purchase records stay with Apple or Google under their rules, and RevenueCat keeps its record of the purchase under its policy.
- Crash reports and performance data (kept by Sentry for up to 90 days) and usage statistics (kept by Google Analytics for up to 14 months) are not linked to your user ID and are discarded when those periods end.
- Files you exported yourself stay wherever you put them.
More detail is in the privacy policy. Questions: support@sobrenna.app.
